Joyce Studies Annual 2028 Call for Abstracts
January 12, 2026
Joyce Studies Annual invites abstracts for its special issue, “Echo-Joyce: Reading Joyce in Relation,” exploring James Joyce’s work through the lens of relation, echo, and global literary networks inspired by Édouard Glissant’s concept of the écho-monde. The issue welcomes interdisciplinary perspectives on Joyce’s connections to colonialism, archipelagic studies, translation, ecology, Caribbean thought, and beyond. Abstracts (250–300 words) are due August 31, 2026, with completed essays due January 1, 2027.
